Our first meeting is this Wednesday, September 28th, at 7:00 PM. Our meetings this year will once again be at DEC (140th St. & 92nd Ave.), in the main boardroom on the second floor. This month’s meeting will be focused on “PAC 101” – running an effective meeting, how to record minutes, good document retention practices, proper financial record keeping, school planning council information, and more. We hope to have plenty of time left over at the end of the meeting for roundtable discussions on teacher job action, capital funding, playground funding, and more.

We’d like you to register for DPAC so we have all of your contact information; there is no cost, and a form is attached. BCCPAC is a valuable resource, so we also encourage all Surrey PACs to register in order to get important news and updates, access to some great tools, and a vote on important provincial issues.

We look forward to seeing you all this Wednesday!

Thanks,

Bob Holmes
Co-President
Surrey DPAC
